Program Description: Learn how to develop retention rules in Office 365 by listening to your clients for better change management and adoption. City of Seattle in 2016 adopted retention policies for Exchange and is currently expanding retention into SharePoint and Teams. The following topics will be covered in the presentation: About Microsoft licensing, listening to users about email management, email retention settings, SharePoint/ Teams evolving environment, Office 365 retention settings; and outstanding change management issues.

About Our Speaker

Andrea Bettger has been a Records Analyst with City of Seattle since 2002 with expanding job duties that include City-wide training, records retention, and electronic records management. She had previous archives and records management experience with Oregon Historical Society, Lummi Indian Business Council, and City of Portland. Bettger is a very active member of the ARMA, International, she is currently serving as the Region Advisor in the Great Northwest Region as well as NAGARA and Utilities RIM. Bettger has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Portland State University, and Masters in history with emphasis in Archives and Records Management from Western Washington University.
