Celebrate Records and information management Month (RImm)

During the month of April, Records and Information Management professionals everywhere are recognized for the important role that they play in government and business.  

RIM Month brings together members of state / local government officials and RIM professionals to proclaim the importance and purpose of Records and Information Management and gives them the opportunity to celebrate and promote their profession.  Each year, ARMA Madison requests a Proclamation from the Governor of Wisconsin declaring April as "Records and Information Management Month."

• *  Records and information are critical to every business, organization, and government agency
  *  Technologies are expanding the amount of information that can be accessed
  *  Information is used to create value and plan strategically in today's world
  *  Control of records and information is necessary to reduce risk, liability and compliance with global standards
  *  The State of Wisconsin recognizes these professionals and the important services they provide across the state
