Dairyland Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative providing wholesale electrical requirements for 24 distribution cooperatives and 17 municipal utilities. These cooperatives and municipals, in turn, supply the energy needs of more than a half-million people in a four-state area by using both traditional and renewable energy resources to provide safe, sustainable, reliable, and affordable electricity. Our Records & Information Management Team is responsible for enabling compliance with legal and regulatory obligations to facilitate Dairyland's overall governance. Accurate, reliable, usable, and relevant information management promotes operational efficiency, demonstrates fiscal responsibility and enables Dairyland to account for its actions.

The Department of Administration (DOA) has several key functions, including the support of other State agencies and their programs. With regards to records management, DOA is statutorily tasked with providing advice and assistance to the other departments in the State of Wisconsin. This includes the periodic audit of state agency’s records management programs. DOA also operates a records center for the efficient storage of physical records by State government. A Records Officer has been designated to oversee DOA’s internal compliance with records management laws and rules.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) provides or oversees county administration of programs to assist children and families. Those include assistance for children in need of protection or services, adoption and foster care services, the licensing of facilities that provide out-of-home care for children, background investigations of child caregivers, child abuse and neglect investigations, and community-based juvenile justice services. DCF also administers the Wisconsin Works (W-2) public assistance program, including the Wisconsin Shares child care subsidy program, the YoungStar child care quality improvement program, the child support enforcement and paternity establishment program, and programs related to the federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) income support program. The department also works to ensure that families have access to high quality and affordable early childhood care and education and administers the licensing and regulation of child care centers. The records management program at DCF is responsible for assisting divisions in the efficient and systematic administration of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use, and disposition of records.

The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) efficiently delivers effective and inclusive services to meet Wisconsin's diverse workforce needs, and advocates for the protection and economic advancement of all Wisconsin workers, employers, and job seekers.  The records management program at DWD is responsible for assisting divisions in the efficient and systematic administration of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use, and disposition of records.

The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (the District) is a municipal corporation as defined by the State of Wisconsin Statutes 200.15 to 200.15. Our mission is to protect public health and the environment by cleaning and returning wastewater safely back to the nature or apply Metrogro (a valuable, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer) to help farmers grow more food. The District’s records management program is responsible for the efficient and systematic control of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposition of District records and information, including the processes of improving the flow of information in the organization. It provides the necessary tools for records and information access and retrieval to provide security as well as transparency as a government entity. The records administrator provides overall administration of the program including software, policies, procedures, and compliance with state law.

Telephone and Data Systems (TDS) is a Fortune® 1000 company that provides wireless products and services; cable and wireline broadband, TV and voice services; and hosted and managed services to approximately 6 million customers nationwide. With regards to records management, the Records Retention Program Manager sits at the parent company (TDS Corporate) and oversees records management at all the business units (TDS Telecom, UScellular, OneNeck IT Solutions, and Suttle-Straus). The goal of the records management program is to help associates follow and enforce their retention schedules and provide subject matter expertise on all records retention related projects and objectives.
