ARMA MILWAUKEE OCTOBER MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Join us at Forest Home Cemetery

October 30, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

The Forest Home Historic Preservation Association takes pride in maintaining their historical and current records.  There are Civil War veterans to Women of Influence in Old Milwaukee buried there as well as early Milwaukeeans who helped build Milwaukee in the 1800s.  Names like Layton, Marshall, Ilsley, Pfister, Mitchell, Schlitz, Pabst and many more. 

They will talk about some of the famous Milwaukee leaders buried there and will demonstrate how they manage their historical records dating back to the 1800’s as well as their current records scanning project to a records management system.  A short tour of the cemetery will follow the records presentation.
